Ohm's Law

1. Introduction
The name is a misnomer; Ohm's law simply refers to the tendency for real world materials to obey this relation:
\begin{align} \label{} V = IR \end{align}where \(V\) is the voltage, \(I\) is the current, and \(R\) is a proportionality constant arguably defined by this equation. Essentially this law posits that resistors scale the current in a linear fashion. This law is used extensively in the analysis of resistors in circuit analysis.
